Terry was born and raised right here in Lufkin. He obtained a B.A. in Business Management from Fort Lewis College. Upon graduation, he came back to Lufkin and joined his dad at Morgan Insurance Agency, where he is now the Managing Partner.

He is a graduate of Leadership Lufkin, an Eagle Scout, past chairman of the Tall Timbers District of the Boy Scouts of America, past president of the Lufkin Jaycees, past president of the Lufkin Host Lions Club, past president of St. Cyprian’s Episcopal School, and past board member of CHI Health Memorial. Currently, he serves on the board for Christian Men’s Job Corps and is the 2019 Chairman of the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce.

Terry is married to Susan and they have two grown children, Sarah and Scott.
